This pane contains the names of the feeds which you added and the group into which you organize them.
The 'FEEDS' group
The 'FEEDS' group contains all the feeds. The feeds are refreshed in the order in which they are in this group. You can change the order using drag & drop.
The Philosophy of NewsFox groups
In NewsFox groups are alternative ways to reach the same information. So when you create groups in order to organize your feeds, the feeds are not copied or moved to the groups, they are only marked to show up there as well. It is an alternative way to reach the one and only copy of the same feed. So when you manipulate a feed or an article (tag, delete etc.), it does not matter how you reached it, you manipulate the one and only copy and the changes will automatically show up in all other places where the feed is visible.
In other words: You must NOT consider the 'FEEDS' group as a backup with all the feeds, because it is not.
Regular groups - organized manually
Regular groups are used for organizing feeds according to personal preferences.
Search groups - showing the result of a search
Search groups are used to search feeds for articles with certain properties. The Search group will contain all the articles that contain the search text and results are highlighted in bold red within the article.
Tag groups - showing feeds with a certain tag
Tag groups list all articles with a given tag.
Regular feeds
NewsFox handles Atom and RSS 2.0 feeds.
Storage feeds - archiving articles
Apart from the regular feeds which you read, you can create Storage feeds. You can drag & drop articles from other feeds. These are separate copies of the articles. As a result, further changes to the original article (tagging, deleting) do not affect them and they can show up as separate articles in addition to the original one in Search and Tag groups. Removing articles from RSS/Atom feeds will improve performance.
