Display Style: Web or Text

The view pane displays an article using either 'Text' or 'Web' view. The Global Display Style is specified in the Feeds/Articles tab in Main Options. The General tag in Feed Options specifies whether the feed should follow the Global (default) style or stick to either style.

'Web' view just displays the HTML page specified in the article link.

'Text' view displays information in the feed about the article. The formatting of the information displayed can be controlled via the textview.css file located in the newsfox folder in your profile folder. The View pane CSS can be controlled.

'Text' view also allows displaying a filtered web page. There is more information here.
