1) Newsfox refresh item at Firefox startup? (not page/chrome startup).
If the answer is YES then it doesn't work, even with a new user profile.
If the answer is NO then... i will call it a request.
I check this with versions 1.0.3.1, 1.0.3.2 and 1.0.4b3.
2) Mark all as "read" doesn't change the value in the statusbar?
If the number doesn't change and the only indicator of the statusbar icon is to add feeds then I need to check mannualy everytime. It would be better if the number in the statusbar disappear only if the number of new items not readed is zero, IMHO, but this need to refresh the number too!.
3) When i double click in an item the item open in a new tab. But the statusbar icon change detecting the feed, but i'm still in the newsfox page. And if click in the icon nothing is detected.
Re: Refreshing
Hi, I like newsfox very much but the only thing that I don't like of it is that to autorefresh the list new articles I've to leave the newsfox tab every open.
I read the discussion at https://www.mozdev.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=18289, but I don't understand a thing.
Why is not possible simply to "hide" the newsfox's tab in the newsfox's button in the statusbar? In this manner it will work like in background because the tab of newsfox isn't visible but it is open and reachable from the statusbutton. When the statusbutton is clicked the tab became visible when re-clicked the tab became hide(but opened for the system).
If you want to really close newsfox to release the memory or other resources used from newsfox simply right click on the status button (that could be gray to advice the user that newsfox is disabled).
I think that in this manner there are not the problems described in the previous discussion because the functioning of newsfox is the same, the only thing is that is possible to hide its tab when it is opened if the user want to do it.
This is only a suggestion, is possible that I've not understood the problem, thank you for your attention.
