Auto-Refresh and Refresh all feeds on Startup not working

These features used to work for me, then maybe a week or so ago they just stopped. Manual refreshing still works fine, but I'd prefer not to have to do that every hour or so.

I also had another issue where I was getting some sort of "factory" error (I'd copy the exact text if I still had it), but I managed to fix that issue by removing and reinstalling Newsfox. Luckily I backed up my feeds first.

Sadly the removal and reinstall didn't fix the refreshing issue.

Any suggestions?

Sweet, I actually just figured it out. I'm pretty sure NewsFox must have recently changed in such a way that it looks at the "general.useragent.extra.firefox" variable, and if it doesn't see Firefox (as is the case in custom builds like I run) it wouldn't auto-refresh or refresh all feeds on startup. Once I manually changed that variable (which I shouldn't have to do) it started working again just fine.

I suppose it's also possible that somehow I reset that variable, and that NewsFox had always had this problem, but as I've been using custom builds since before FF3 came out this seems unlikely.

Either way, I would greatly appreciate it if this could be looked into, and if I'm correct, that the useragent check be removed. I'll likely file this as a bug now that I think I know what it is.
