Auto-Refresh and Refresh all feeds on Startup not working

These features used to work for me, then maybe a week or so ago they just stopped. Manual refreshing still works fine, but I'd prefer not to have to do that every hour or so.

I also had another issue where I was getting some sort of "factory" error (I'd copy the exact text if I still had it), but I managed to fix that issue by removing and reinstalling Newsfox. Luckily I backed up my feeds first.

Sadly the removal and reinstall didn't fix the refreshing issue.

Any suggestions?

Scheeb. Thanks for the detective work! I run Minefield and Gran Paradiso builds of Firefox on all my systems and it has been driving me crazy trying to figure out why my NewsFox wouldn't auto-start the feed checks even though the preference was so enabled in NewsFox. I was thinking it might be something with NoScript or something.

I changed my default Minefield value for that field to "Firefox/3.0.1" and, as you said, NewsFox began the auto-refresh and refresh at startup like it used to! Hurray!

Not sure what that is going to do to the rest of operations...hopefully nothing too bad.
