K-Meleon74 and newer are based on XUL Runner and can use the Firefox versions of NewsFox. Find information about how to do this in the K-Meleon forum topics NewsFox 1.0.9.1 works with K-Mleon 74 Addon Manager and Old Good NewsFox for new K-Meleon.

Use Firefox releases. Open the .xpi file from the File menu. Installing may require elevated security privileges.

There were some content changes from the previous release candidate, so download this again if you are using it.

I have machine translated the two new strings for hu-HU, ja-JP, and zh-TW. If there are native Hungarian, Japanese, and Chinese speakers out there, could you send me an email (wa84it AT gmail DOT com) if the translation of "Removed HTML Tags" in the feed options dialog is okay? The other new string is "Delete ENTIRE NewsFox directory?" which you will have a hard time seeing in the program.
